Los Cielos is a nonprofit organization supporting Indigenous Shipibo people, communities, reforestation efforts, biodiversity and preservation of cultural and ancestral plant medicines of the Amazon. We provide jobs, opportunity, healing and support for the Peruvian people in our community. We are commited to the well being of the animals, plants and people of the Peruvian Amazon.

 

WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON:

• Our primary vehicle needs major repair. This is our most immediate urgent need. Our 4 wheel drive truck is critical in our work across all of our projects. ($4000)
   

• We are planting 2000 cacao plants and 2500 new trees by March 2026 ($2000)
   

• Completing a new water tower and repair on the subterrainian motor and pump. ($1000)
   

• Rebuilding our plant medicine cooking hut after severe winds and storms toppled it. ($750)
   

• Ongoing donations for Farmacia Vive. This Shipibo organization is preserving more than 10,000 acres of ancestral forest and creating a natural pharmacy of native and idigenous plants. Los Cielos supports their efforts in fundraising and awareness to build infrastructure, provide parts and fuel for boats, protect the forested land and create protections for the land trust.
