Los Cielos is a nonprofit organization supporting Indigenous Shipibo people, communities, reforestation efforts, biodiversity and preservation of cultural and ancestral plant medicines of the Amazon. We provide jobs, opportunity, healing and support for the Peruvian people in our community. We are commited to the well being of the animals, plants and people of the Peruvian Amazon.

 

WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON:

• Our most urgent support project is helping Sofia, our amazing chef and support person, is in urgent need of an medical proceedure. She is currently unable to work and is facing $4000 in health care costs. We greatly appreciate your support in helping us help Sophia!

• We are planting 6000 cacao plants and 1500 new trees in our 2 year plan. Help us continue our massive reforestation project after losing 80 percent of our primary forest in 2024. We have received more than $10,000 in donations to date and we are growing and tending this massive project everyday. Our current drive is: ($25,000 over the next 18 months)

• Rebuilding our plant medicine cooking hut after severe winds and storms toppled it. ($750)
   

• Ongoing donations for Farmacia Vive. This Shipibo organization is preserving more than 10,000 acres of ancestral forest and creating a natural pharmacy of native and idigenous plants. Los Cielos supports their efforts in fundraising and awareness to build infrastructure, provide parts and fuel for boats, protect the forested land and create protections for the land trust.
